Individuals & Couples

Isabelle works with children ages 4+, teens, and adults who may be struggling with difficult emotions, confidence, identity, stress, or simply understanding themselves and what they are going through. She helps clients make sense of their experiences, recognize their strengths, and build healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges.

Her approach is warm, patient, and deeply person-centered. Isabelle believes every person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth, even when they may not feel that way themselves. You do not have to come into therapy knowing exactly what to say or having everything figured out. She will meet you where you are and work alongside you at a pace that feels comfortable.

Through counseling, Isabelle hopes clients leave with a stronger understanding of themselves, more confidence in who they are, and practical tools they can use when difficult emotions or challenges come up. For clients who want it, she also welcomes the opportunity to incorporate faith, personal values, and beliefs into the counseling process.

Isabelle specializes in supporting clients with:

Exploring who you are and building confidence in yourself

Understanding difficult emotions and learning how to manage them

Helping children and teens feel safe enough to open up

Recognizing your strengths and growing greater trust in yourself

Building healthier ways to cope with stress and life’s challenges

Exploring faith, values, and beliefs as part of the healing process

What it’s like to work with Isabelle

You do not have to come into counseling with the right words. Isabelle understands that opening up can feel difficult, especially when you are still trying to understand what is happening inside of you. Some clients arrive with a lot they are ready to talk about. Others need time before they even know where to begin. Both are okay.

Her approach is patient, collaborative, and centered around you as a person rather than treating you like a problem that needs to be fixed. She will help you explore what matters to you, recognize the strengths you already have, and better understand the emotions and experiences that may be shaping your life.

There is no expectation that growth has to happen on someone else’s timeline. Isabelle will meet you where you are and work alongside you as you build greater self-understanding, confidence, and practical tools for whatever comes next.

Isabelle's Experience

Isabelle is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Divine Mercy University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences from Western Kentucky University. Her work is grounded in a deep respect for the dignity and worth of every person. She draws from person-centered, cognitive, and trauma-informed approaches while tailoring counseling to each client’s individual needs, experiences, and goals.

Above all, Isabelle wants clients to leave counseling with a greater understanding of themselves, more confidence in their own strengths, and practical tools they can carry with them beyond the therapy room.

Frequently Asked Questions

That is completely okay. You do not need to walk into your first session knowing exactly what is wrong or how to explain everything you are feeling. Isabelle will meet you where you are and help you begin exploring what has been going on at a pace that feels comfortable.
Yes. Isabelle works with clients ages 4 and up, including children, teens, and adults. Her approach is adapted to the age, needs, and comfort level of each individual client.
Absolutely, if you would like it to be. Isabelle welcomes clients who want to incorporate their faith, beliefs, or values into counseling. Faith does not have to be part of your sessions, though. Counseling will always be centered around what is meaningful and comfortable for you.
Isabelle primarily uses person-centered, cognitive, and trauma-informed approaches. Rather than using the exact same approach with every client, she considers your individual needs, experiences, strengths, and goals.

There is no pressure to share everything immediately. Isabelle understands that trust takes time and that some experiences are difficult to put into words. She focuses first on creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable enough to open up at their own pace.

Her goal is for clients to develop a stronger understanding of themselves, greater confidence in their own strengths, and practical tools they can use to navigate emotions, relationships, changes, and challenges outside of the counseling room.

Gus would probably say everyone is his best friend—but especially whoever is offering belly rubs, treats, or a cozy spot to hang out. He takes his job as therapy dog (and chief comfort officer) very seriously.
