Individuals & Couples

I genuinely do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and my background backs that up. I have worked in community mental health, substance use disorder treatment, crisis intervention, and private practice, which means I have sat with a wide range of human experiences and learned how to adapt to every single one.

I work with individuals ages 6 to 99 and with couples, and I bring an eclectic, evidence-based toolkit to every session. CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, somatic movement, art-based activities, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma are all part of how I work, and I choose from that toolkit based on what you actually need that day. I am particularly passionate about psychoeducation, helping you understand the how and why behind your brain and nervous system, because I have seen how much that knowledge changes things.

My space is designed to feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I am not going to pressure you to move faster than you are ready to, and I am not going to keep you here longer than you need. What I will do is show up consistently, bring real creativity to the work, and stay genuinely invested in where you end up. People who work with me often describe finally feeling like someone actually got them, and like therapy was something they looked forward to rather than dreaded.

Lexi specializes in supporting clients with:

Trauma and the shame that often travels with it

ADHD and understanding how your brain actually works

Anxiety, depression, and disordered eating

Relationship issues including couples work and infidelity recovery

Self-esteem, identity, and rebuilding a sense of self worth

Communication skills and learning to set boundaries that hold

What it’s like to work with Lexi

Lexi brings an eclectic, evidence-based approach to every session, which means she is not locked into one method. She pulls from CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, and somatic movement depending on what you need that day. She also leans into psychoeducation in a real way, because she believes understanding how your brain works is one of the most powerful things you can do in therapy.

Her sessions feel inviting and pressure-free. She is not going to rush you out the door the moment you start feeling better, and she is not going to keep you longer than you need. Progress is not linear, and she knows that. What you can expect is consistency, creativity, and a therapist who is genuinely invested in where you end up.

Frequently Asked Questions

An inviting space, free from judgment or shame. My room is designed for your comfort, and the whole Tabb Therapy team is great at making sure you feel taken care of and informed from the moment you arrive.

That depends on you. I like to build some momentum with sessions every one to two weeks to start, and then we will check in after the first six to eight sessions. Progress is not linear and you will not be rushed. But if you are feeling better, I am not going to keep you here longer than you need.

It means I draw from different types of therapy to tailor the approach specifically to you. All of the methods I use are evidence-based, but there is no one-size-fits-all in this work. You are not a template.

Absolutely. I work with couples to address the full picture around infidelity, including unmet needs, how to communicate those needs, and how to rebuild trust and repair after. It is hard work but it is absolutely possible.
